Prof dr. Ganesh Narasimhan  distinguished academic and researcher in the field IOT Netwoks, WSN and Quantum computing (QCA). He has held various significant positions in the education sector throughout his career. Starting as a Lecturer at Sai Ram Tambaram from June 1995 to July 1997, he then progressed to become a Senior Lecturer at SVCE Pennalur, where he served from August 1997 to September 2004. Following this, he took on the role of Assistant Professor at BSA Crescent Chennai from June 2004 to June 2009. Continuing his journey, he served as the Principal at RIT Chennai for six years, from June 2009 to May 2015, before transitioning to the position of Principal at Saveetha Engineering College, where he worked until September 2017.

In 1995, he completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from APEC Madras, securing a remarkable 72% and earning a First-class distinction. Building on this foundation, he furthered his studies, obtaining a Master of Technology in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) from IITM in 2002, with a commendable 65% and again achieving First-class honors. Subsequently, he pursued his passion for research, culminating in the completion of his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU in 2008, where he excelled, earning a First-class distinction. Additionally, in recognition of his contributions to the field of Biomedical Engineering, he was bestowed with an Honorary Doctorate in 2019 by California Public University, California.

He has been actively involved in various innovative projects resulting in several patents pending evaluation in India. Notable among them is a rehabilitative wheelchair designed for disabled dogs, attributed to Mr. Kaushik, Dr. Hemalatha, and Br. E.N. Ganesh. Another patent involves an anaerosol solgel generating system with a specifically designed nozzle, credited to Mr. Nirmal, Swarna, Dr. E.N. Ganesh, and others. Notably, he has contributed to the development of a water consumption control system for irrigation based on IoT, alongside Padmanabhan and Arun Nageswaran. Throughout his career, he has garnered numerous awards and accolades, highlighting his outstanding contributions to academia and research. Notably, he received the Best PhD Thesis Award from JNTU Hyderabad in 2009, along with a PhD Gold Medal. His excellence in research was further recognized with two DRIKF Research Excellence Awards in 2019 for publications in biomedical fields. He has also been honored with Teachers Day Appreciation Awards for his article and book publications, as well as for securing project sanction from DST. His dedication to teaching and academic achievement earned him the Best Faculty – Shri P K Das Memorial Award in 2013 and the Teachers Excellence Award in 2014. He has achieved significant milestones in academia, particularly in his roles as Vice Chancellor (Incharge), Chief Superintendent of Examinations, and Chairman for various examination-related committees at institutions such as Saveetha Engineering College (SEC) and Rajalakshmi Institutions of Technology (RIT). His leadership has resulted in notable accomplishments, including ranking SEC at 91 in India according to NIRF, consistently achieving above 80% results in Anna University examinations, and securing substantial funding for projects from organizations like MSME, MNRE NIWE, AICTE, and BRNS.
