The applicant is mainly committed to developing new methods and applications of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) under the framework of modern network medicine. The main achievements include: 1) developing original ...network medicine methods as well as a series of computational databases and tools to establish a comprehensive TCM network medicine platform; 2) Applying our methods to explain the scientific connotation of TCM, including the TCM-derived natural product drug discovery, and the elucidation of therapeutic material basis and mechanism of TCM prescriptions. Up to now, the applicant has published 51 related SCI papers as first or corresponding authors, including Nature aging, Cell chemical biology and so on. His publications have been cited over 2850 times (google scholar) with H-index of 31. He also obtained the 2019 Chinese Pharmacological Society Young Pharmacologist Award, entered the final defense of National Natural Science Foundation--Outstanding Youth Foundation in 2022, and was awarded as the world's top 2% scientists (2020-2022) released by the Stanford University and Elsevier. He also serves as an associate editor of Frontiers in Pharmacology.
