Prior to his Ph.D., he pursued an M.S. in Pharmacology & Toxicology at the esteemed National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, India, completing it in 2015 with a commendable CGPA of 7.9. His academic journey began with a B. Pharmacy degree from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, where he graduated with a notable score of 69.2% in 2012. Before his undergraduate studies, he excelled in his secondary education, securing 80.0% in Class X from Milanpalli High School under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. Additionally, his proficiency was evident in Class XII where he achieved a commendable 50.9% from Islampur High School under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Currently engaged in a postdoctoral position at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, under the guidance of Dr. XiaoChing Li, his focus lies on unraveling the molecular intricacies of neural circuit development and vocal communication within the zebra finch model of autism. Prior to this, he earned his Ph.D. from UIPS, Panjab University, Chandigarh, where his doctoral research, supervised by Dr. Sangeeta Pilkhwal Sah, centered on elucidating the phenomenon of brain insulin resistance in Alzheimer’s disease, with a focus on targeting the PI3K/Akt/GSK-3β pathway in a rat model. His academic journey also involved rigorous coursework in research methodology, biostatistics, and pharmaceutical sciences, further enhancing his analytical prowess. In his M.S. program at NIPER, Hyderabad, he undertook a dissertation project under the guidance of Dr. Sudhir Sehdev and Dr. VGM Naidu, focusing on the cloning, expression, and purification of recombinant proteins utilizing bacterial expression systems.
