Prof. (Dr.) Gurpreet Singh has always exhibited a deep passion for technology and learning. His academic journey began with a Diploma in Computer Programming and Application from the prestigious Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology in 1998, where he graduated with a commendable 7.93 CGPA. He went on to complete his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering in 2002 from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering & Technology, Punjab, followed by a M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering in 2008 from DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology, Punjab. His M.Tech thesis focused on Performance Evaluation of Networks using AntNet Variants—an early indicator of his future research direction. In 2014, he earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala, one of India’s top-ranked institutions. His research on the design and development of ACO routing protocols for MANETs (Mobile Ad Hoc Networks) laid the groundwork for his distinguished research career.
