Dr. Sergio Gonzalez Sanchez  distinguished academic and researcher in the field Technological Networks and Metallurgy. In 2023-2025, he leads a project titled “Tailoring high entropy grain boundary complexions in CuZr shape memory alloy for enhanced reversibility, thermal stability, and toughness,” funded by The Royal Society International Exchanges. Additionally, Dr. González successfully secured internal funding from Northumbria University-Northern Accelerator for a project titled “Novel cost-effective antimicrobial touch surfaces for public indoor settings” in 2022.
