Suliman Khan – Spectral Graph Theory- Best Researcher Award
Mr. Suliman Khan distinguished academic and researcher in the field Spectral Graph Theory. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Tilburg University in the Netherlands under the supervision of Prof. Edwin Van Dam. His research topic focuses on the generalization of cometric (Q-polynomial) schemes. This builds upon his prior academic achievements, including a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) in Pakistan. During his master’s studies, he achieved a remarkable final GPA of 3.71/4.00, earning him the distinction of being a Gold Medallist. Additionally, he was awarded a fully funded scholarship in the form of a Graduate Assistantship.
His master’s dissertation titled “Computational and efficiency analyses of certain graph-theoretic parameters” demonstrates his aptitude in mathematical research, under the guidance of Dr. Sakander Hayat. Prior to his master’s degree, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the University of Malakand (UOM) in Pakistan, achieving a commendable final GPA of 3.72/4.00. These academic achievements underscore his dedication and proficiency in the field of mathematics.

CONFERENCES / SYMPOSIUMS
He actively participates in academic conferences, symposiums, and seminars to enrich his knowledge and engage with the mathematical community. Notably, he presented at the International Linear Algebra Society (ILAS) Conference in June 2023 in Madrid, Spain, where he delivered a talk titled “No cycle-spliced bipartite signed graph with nullity ⴄ(G)=c(G).” Prior to this, he also presented at the Combinatorics 2022 Conference in Mantua, Italy, in May-June 2022, where he spoke on “Line graph of Pan and Lollipop graphs.”
Furthermore, he has attended seminars such as the Summer School on “Contemporary Algebraic and Geometric Techniques in Coding Theory and Cryptography” organized by the Dipartimento di Matematica e Fisica, University of Campania, Italy, held virtually on Microsoft Teams in July 18–22, 2022, and the Symposium: 2nd All Pakistan Research Symposium at GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Topi, Pakistan, in April 19–21, 2019. These experiences demonstrate his commitment to staying abreast of the latest developments in mathematics and his active involvement in scholarly discourse
