Prof. Balomajumder has been an integral part of IIT Roorkee for over three decades, holding leadership roles such as Chairman of the Institute Disposal Committee, Member of the Senate, and Member of the Institute Security Advisory Committee. He has also represented IIT Roorkee in multiple international research collaborations, including MoUs with Teesside University (UK), University of Alberta (Canada), and University of Houston (USA). Beyond IIT Roorkee, he is a current member of the High-Level Standing Committee in the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, advising on critical water and environmental policies.
