Dr. Mishra earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from BIT Mesra in May 2015, focusing his research on developing a framework for multi-biometric systems aimed at enhancing personal identification techniques. Prior to this, he completed an M.S. in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani, in 2003, and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur, in 1996. He began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Gorakhpur University in 1992.

Dr. Mishra’s professional career encompasses both international and national academic positions. Internationally, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Sebha University in Libya from October 2006 to July 2009, where he taught and guided research projects for undergraduate students. In India, he has held various roles at BIT Mesra, including Assistant Professor at the Noida Campus from July 2004 to September 2006, and at the main campus in Ranchi since August 2009. Additionally, he worked as a Senior Project Engineer at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) in Noida, contributing to multiple research projects and teaching postgraduate students.
