Dr. Sajid Mehmood is an emerging researcher in the field of nanoscience and chemistry, currently pursuing his Ph.D. (2021–2024) at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh — a Central University established by an Act of Parliament, Government of India. He holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry (2017–2019) from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Uttarakhand, and a B.Sc. (2013–2017) from Govt. Degree College, Poonch, affiliated with the University of Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir. His academic excellence and research contributions have been recognized through prestigious honors, including qualifying the national-level GATE examination (2020), receiving the UGC University Fellowship (2021–2024), and earning the IRSD Excellence in Research and Development Award (2025). Dr. Mehmood’s research focuses on nanoparticle synthesis to develop advanced materials with precise structural properties for applications in healthcare, sustainable energy, and agriculture. His work encompasses nanoparticle synthesis using multiple methods, characterization for structural analysis, and exploring applications such as targeted drug delivery, environmental catalysis, sensors, and energy storage. Dr. Evanimek Bernardo Sabino da Silva is a distinguished chemical engineer and researcher with extensive experience in chemistry, geophysics, mining, and environmental consulting. He earned his Bachelor’s and Doctorate degrees in Chemistry, as well as a Master’s in Geophysics, from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), where he also completed postdoctoral research at the Institute of Chemistry. Complementing this, he pursued postdoctoral studies in materials chemistry at the University of Santiago de Chile. His professional career includes roles as a Mining Technician at Codelco do Brasil Mineração LTDA, Geophysics Technician at the Rio Grande do Norte Research Support Foundation, and Full-Level Chemist at Mona Environmental Consulting. He further advanced his expertise as a Postdoctoral researcher at both UFRN and Universidad de Santiago de Chile, before contributing as a Chemical Engineer at Nucleo Advisory Engineering S.A. His research interests encompass advanced materials, green synthesis, and nanotechnology, notably focusing on Sol-Gel protein methods for nanoparticle preparation and sustainable systems for Ni and Co ferrites using cashew gum precursors.
