Chandra Prakash Gour -Geopolymer concrete – Best Researcher Award
Dr. Chandra Prakash Gour distinguished academic and researcher in the field Geopolymer concrete.
Educations📚📚📚
He completed his secondary and higher secondary education in 2011 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Sehore. Pursuing his passion for engineering, he obtained a B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from UIT Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya in Bhopal, India, in 2017. He continued his studies at the same institution, earning an M. Tech. in Structural Engineering in 2019. His academic journey culminated in a Ph. D. in Engineering Material from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal, India, which he completed in 2023.
Experience
He has gained diverse professional experiences, including working with the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and participating in various consultancy projects. His expertise extends to managing and conducting experiments in both concrete technology and surveying labs. His research focuses on sustainable concrete materials, particularly waste management in building construction through geopolymer concrete. He also delves into the microstructure and durability of concrete, with a specific interest in petrography and thin section analysis.
Conferences
He has actively participated in both international and national conferences, showcasing his research and expertise. In 2023, he presented a paper titled “Sustainable Utilization of Bone China as Fine Aggregates in Geopolymer Concrete” at ICRTMD, held at G.A.V. Degree College in Jharjar, Haryana, India. In 2022, he co-authored a paper on the “Comparative Analysis of Drying Shrinkage of Mortar with Varying Ratios of Fly Ash and GGBS,” which was presented at NCGBIS at the Institute of Engineers India, M.P. State Centre Bhopal. Additionally, he attended the International Conference on “Sustainable Materials and Structures for Civil Infrastructures” in 2019, organized by the Department of Civil Engineering at UIT-RGTU under TEQP, as well as the International Conference on “Green Building Material and Technology” organized by the Department of Civil Engineering in the same year.
