Assoc Prof Dr. Da xu  distinguished academic and researcher in the field Multi-Energy Networks. He received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Wuhan University Of Technology and Hunan University. He is currently a Associate Professor, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan. He was also a Visiting phd student with Technical University of Denmark, Copenhagen, Denmark and Research Assistant with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. He has published about 20 SCI papers (as first author or corresponding author), incluidng 8 IEEE Transactions papers and 1 ESI paper. He is also a Guest editor of Buildings and Energies.

He pursued his education diligently, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from Hunan University, China, which he completed between September 2015 and July 2020. Under the guidance of supervisors Bin Zhou, Canbing Li, and Yijia Cao, he delved into advanced studies in his field. Prior to his doctoral studies, he earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Automation from Wuhan University of Technology, China, graduating in June 2015. Work Experience

He has gained valuable professional experience across various prestigious institutions. Since September 2020, he has served as an Associate Professor at China University of Geosciences, Wuhan. Prior to this, he undertook a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Macau, Macau, from February 2023 to February 2025, under the guidance of Supervisor Chi-Seng Lam. His earlier professional roles include a stint as a Research Assistant at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, spanning from July 2017 to February 2018, under the supervision of Ka Wing Chan.

In addition to his formal positions, he has also engaged in Visiting Scholar activities, notably at the Technical University of Denmark, Copenhagen, Denmark, from November 2018 to November 2019. During this time, he worked under the supervision of Qiuwei Wu and Jacob Østergaard, further broadening his academic horizons and contributing to collaborative research efforts.

His academic excellence was recognized with the 2017 National Scholarship for Graduate Student by the Ministry of Education, China, where he achieved the remarkable feat of ranking second in his college cohort. Additionally, he secured the Second Prize of the Wu Wen Jun AI Science and Technology Progress Award, ranking fifth in his group at the Ministerial and Provincial level.

In entrepreneurship competitions, he demonstrated his innovative spirit, winning the National Second Prize in the 2018 China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Competition and the Second Prize in Hunan Province in various competitions, ranking within the top three in his respective groups.

His academic achievements continued to be acknowledged, earning him the 2018 Excellent Doctoral Candidate School Scholarship of Hunan University, where he ranked first in the Junior group. Prof Dr. Justyna Maliszewska Nienartowicz distinguished academic and researcher in the field  Energy Policy. Since 2019, she has assumed the role of the Head of the Chair of European Studies at the Faculty of Political Science and Security Studies, further expanding her research into new areas. Her current focus includes the energy policy of the EU and its Member States, as well as the European Security System.

From 2008 to 2010, she actively participated in the grant titled “Theory and Practice of the Institutional Approach to Regional Development,” which was financially supported by the Croatian Government.

In the subsequent period from 2011 to 2013, she took on the role of supervisor for the grant on “Dyskryminacja pośrednia w prawie Unii Europejskiej: ewolucja, istota oraz relacje ze zbliżonymi koncepcjami prawnym” (Indirect Discrimination in European Union Law: Evolution, Essence, and Relations with Similar Legal Concepts). This project received funding from the National Centre of Science under decision no. DEC-2011/01/B/HS5/00965.

Her academic journey includes an Erasmus scholarship in Utrecht (the Netherlands) in 1998, followed by a Tempus scholarship in Hull (Great Britain) in 2001. In 2004, she was awarded a scholarship for young researchers in Oxford (Great Britain) and, later in 2010, received a senior researchers’ scholarship in Oxford as well. These experiences enriched her academic pursuits and contributed significantly to her research and knowledge in the respective fields.
