Ansab Akhtar – Neuroscience Award – Best Researcher Award
Dr. Ansab Akhtar distinguished academic and researcher in the field Neuroscience. He has extensively delved into various neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders, encompassing Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, PTSD, depression, schizophrenia, diabetic cognitive dysfunction, and diabetic neuropathy, among others. Despite this broad spectrum of research, his primary focus has remained on Alzheimer’s disease, reflecting his dedication to advancing understanding and treatment in this critical area of neuroscience. His contributions extend beyond research, as evidenced by his authorship and co-authorship of research and review publications in esteemed peer-reviewed international journals. During his master’s program, he embarked on a project under the guidance of Dr. Sudhir Sahdev, a group leader at Daiichi Sankyo, Gurgaon, and Dr. VGM Naidu, an assistant professor at NIPER Hyderabad, focusing on the cloning, expression, and purification of recombinant proteins utilizing bacterial expression systems. Presently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun, where he imparts knowledge in Pharmacology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Clinical Research, and related disciplines. His multifaceted roles in research, academia, and teaching underscore his comprehensive expertise and commitment to advancing the frontiers of pharmaceutical sciences.
