Prof Dr. Asad Muhammad Iqbal a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of Physics. Dr. Asad Muhammad Iqbal, born on November 12, 1989, currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities at the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, National University of Sciences and Technology. Specializing in the field of Materials Science, he obtained his PhD from Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, completing his doctoral studies on February 17, 2020. With a dedicated focus on advancing knowledge in materials science, Dr. Iqbal contributes significantly to the academic community, bringing expertise and research prowess to his role as an Assistant Professor.

1- Analyzed the effect Intercalation of C60 into MXene Layers to improve the Electrochemical Properties
of Electrode Materials for High-Performance Supercapacitor Applications.
2- Analyzed chemical and physical properties of MXene-CNT-C60 Composite Electrodes for Enhanced
Electrochemical Performance for High-Performance Supercapacitors.
3- Studied the energy storage potential of MXene-Based 2D materials and the role of alkali treatment in
improving the properties of Ti3C2Tx MXene.
4- Analyzed the luminescence activity by interfacial engineering via surface treatment of TiO2
nanorods in the core/shell/mixed halide CH3NH3PbI3-xClx perovskite heterostructures.
5- Studied the effect of temperature on structural phase transition and photoluminescence in Organicinorganic hybrid CH3NH3PbI3-xClx perovskite.
6- Studied structural, electronic and optical properties of BaTiO3-CoFe2O4 nanocomposites for
optoelectronic devices.
7- Analyzed the role of oxygen vacancies in the variation of dielectric and magnetic properties of EuTiO3
substituted with Fe.
8- Studied the detailed electrical response of EuTiO3 and identified the conduction mechanisms associated
with Ti3+ and oxygen vacancy defects.
9- Studied the relaxation dynamics and polydispersivity associated with defects and ferroelectric
correlations in Ba-doped EuTiO3.
10- Studied and identified the extrinsic contributions to the dielectric response in sintered BaTiO3
nanostructures in paraelectric and ferroelectric regimes.
11- Worked on Barium doped Strontium titanate and studied the dynamic response of various structural
phase transitions, especially in the phase boundary composition between ferroelectric and
antiferrodistortive phases.
12- Studied the effect of densification on ferroelectric and relaxor behavior of perovskite Ba0.4Sr0.6TiO3.
13- Studied the multiferroic properties of co-doped BiFeO3 with Lead and Lanthanum substituted on Asite, and Titanium substituted on B-site of the lattice.
