Dr. Katerina Sergi is an accomplished educational psychologist with a Ph.D. from Mississippi State University, an M.A. in Applied Social Research, and a B.A. in Psychology from Queens College, CUNY. She currently serves as Assistant Research Professor at the Social Science Research Center, MSU, leading projects in early childhood education, early intervention, mental health awareness, and public health evaluation. Dr. Sergi has extensive experience in both research and applied settings, including roles as Research Associate at MSU, adjunct instructor at Delta State University, and international research coordinator in Greece. Her work encompasses quantitative and qualitative research, technical report authorship, and presentations at national and international conferences on topics ranging from early childhood development and educational interventions to assistive technology and AI applications in social science research. Dr. Sergi’s contributions have influenced policy, practice, and professional development, highlighting her commitment to evidence-based strategies that support children, families, and educational professionals.
