Prof. Stephen Glasby a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of Group theory and Mathematics .His academic journey includes roles such as Associate Dean for Research at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji from 1997 to 1999, Associate Professor at the same institution from 1996 to 1999, and Assistant Professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney from 1991 to 1995. Before that, he held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, from 1989 to 1991. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to advancing mathematical knowledge and education.
Eduvation
Since obtaining his Ph.D. in 1988 from the Department of Pure Mathematics at the University of Sydney, the individual has built an extensive and distinguished career in academia and research. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Western Australia since 2013, he has contributed significantly to the field. From 2013 to 2017, he held the position of Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Canberra, ACT 2601, Australia. Prior to that, he served as a Full Professor at Central Washington University in WA, USA, from 2004 to 2012, and as an Associate Professor from 2000 to 2004. In 2000, he also worked as a Software Designer and Consultant for Teradyne Inc. in Boston, USA.
