Pragati Tripathi – Biomedical Engineering – Best Researcher Award

Ms. Pragati Tripathi distinguished academic and researcher in the field Biomedical Engineering.  She has held multiple academic positions since 2018, beginning as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Vision Institute of Technology, Kanpur. She then transitioned to roles such as Research Associate at Sharda University, Greater Noida, and subsequently as an Assistant Professor in the same field at I.T.S Greater Noida. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor and Chief of Operations and Experiments (C.O.E.) in the ECE Department at I.T.S Greater Noida, where she also played a pivotal role in establishing an IoT lab. Her contributions extend beyond teaching, as evidenced by her involvement in hosting e-Yantra programs and workshops, including one conducted in collaboration with IIT Bombay. Furthermore, she has coordinated mini-projects for second and third-year students, managed data for R&D consultancy, and contributed to the improvement of departmental logistics and student performance. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, a journey she embarked on in 2019. Prior to this, she completed her MTech in Power Electronics & Drives from the same institution in 2018. Her educational journey began with a Master’s in Electronics from C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur, in 2016, following which she obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the same university in 2014. She completed her Intermediate education at Virendra Swarup 21st Century, Kanpur, in 2011, and her High School education at Vikram Khanna High School, Kanpur, in 2009. Through her academic pursuits, she has demonstrated a commitment to expanding her knowledge and expertise in the field of electronics and related disciplines.

As a Supervisor, she led a major project on IoT-based Agricultural monitoring systems at the Department of ECE, I.T.S. Engineering College during the 2023-24 session. Her role extended to being the Organizing Secretary for the Inter-College Tech-Vision Project Exhibition Competition at I.T.S Greater Noida in 2023, where she ensured the smooth execution of the event. Furthermore, she served as an Organizer for Nano fiM, an international conference held at Gautam Buddha University in 2017, and as a Coordinator for the International Conference (ELECRAMA2018) at Auto Expo, Greater Noida. Her dedication to extracurricular activities is evident through her volunteer work as a student coordinator in the Art Club at Gautam Buddha University from 2016 to 2018.
