In 2001, he completed his studies with the West African Examination Council (Private). He pursued a Diploma in Business Administration at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, Nigeria, from 2002 to 2004, followed by a B.Sc. in Economics from the same university from 2005 to 2008, graduating with Second Class Upper honors. He then earned an M.Sc. in Economics (Ph.D.-Proceed Grade) from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, between 2012 and 2014. He began his tenure at Fountain University as an Assistant Lecturer in March 2014, holding that position until September 2017.

Before joining Fountain University, he was a Research Associate working with Prof. S.A. Tella, Director of the Centre for Continuing Education at Olabisi Onabanjo University, from 2013 to March 2014.
