In 2019, he awarded the Ph.D. degree in educational physics given by the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico. In 2020, he received his second Ph.D. degree in power systems with the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, UK. His research areas include educational physics, quantum mechanics, renewable energy, electrical trains, smart grids, and power systems reliability.
