He earned abstract prizes for his pilot studies on diagnostic and prognostic tumor markers in adenocarcinomas of the gastroesophageal junction and extracellular vesicles as potential biomarkers for hepatocellular carcinoma, presented at Visceral Medicine 2023 in Hamburg and NRW-Visceral Medicine 2023 in Essen, each prize valued at €500.
